Freelance journalists Mike and Judith Stares founded the Cotswold & Swindon News Service in 1968. Their agency, serving all national and regional media, is now the longest-established in the south-west under the same ownership.

The main services provided include news and features from Swindon and the Cotswold border towns and villages; Swindon Crown and Magistrates’ Court cover plus RAF Courts Martial.

Research and investigative work carried out to order; copy for press/PR projects also undertaken. Off-diary stories a speciality – excellent contacts throughout industry, commerce, local authority, etc.
